
Australia's Frontline Australia's Frontline is a one hour interpretation on Darwin Harbour. The tour is available most days year round and departs Stokes Hill Wharf at 9.30AM To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Darwin on 19th February 1942, Sea Darwin has developed a new product called 'Australia's Frontline' . This one hour interpretative tour showcases the story of Darwin Harbour's frontline activity, starting with WWII history and tracing developments up to the modern day and its continuing importance as a frontline port. The tour starts at Stokes Hill Wharf and covers the historic wharf, Pearling Luggers, SS Neptuna, USS Peary, the old flying boat base at Doctors Gully and HMAS Coonawarra before either setting you down at Cullen Bay at 10.30AM or returning to Stokes Hill Wharf by 11.00AM.
